Position Overview
Valantri is seeking highly skilled Armed Guards for access control positions. This role requires strong situational awareness, communication skills, and the ability to uphold high-level security standards. The Armed Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of guests, personnel, and property while ensuring compliance with established security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control property access points while interacting professionally with guests.
- Assist guests upon arrival and departure, providing resort and local area information.
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarm systems, and life safety equipment.
- Secure entrances and exits as needed.
- Escort unauthorized individuals off the property while maintaining professionalism.
- Respond to vehicle accidents, thefts, and other security incidents as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of all security-related information.
Requirements
- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Nevada Guard Card.
- Valid weapons permit or ability to complete a certified weapons course.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (as permitted by law).
- Pass Valantri Academy Training requirements.
- Preferred:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in military, law enforcement, or security.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Stand/walk for extended periods.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
